Winter scene poem

One cold and very wintery day,
Me and a friend went out to play.
We couldn't feel our legs in the freezing cold.
Which is when I remember there's a magical world.

Up atop a leafless tree,
a stairway came and greeted me.
Tiny human-like figures with glittering wings,
danced and played and did various things.
In a way they're just like us,
the young ones making all the fuss.

I grabbed my friend at the amazing sight.
She thought if I was really all right.
Assuring her it wasn't lies,
she followed me and simply sighed.

When we reached the top of the tree,
she said she could see them, but to a degree.
I could see them fully, without a doubt.
Unable to hold back excitement I shout:
"If you have been able to see
unusual things then come with me!
Whether it's little or a whole lot,
I found a place where we won't get caught!
It's a place where we'll find peace
no necessary supplies will ever decrease!"

About 10 people heard my call
we all lived with no care at all.

Bullying Victim's Poem

Bullying is a form of torture.
I would cry myself to sleep.
I trapped myself in this vicious cycle.
They would nag me,
Whisper, and snicker constantly.
I almost wanted to kill myself...
I felt like the ugliest person in the world.
I was lucky I had somewhere else to go.

Romeo's free verse poem to Juliet

Restriction: No use of the word "love"

"My sweet and gentle Juliet, I never saw such a beauty such as thee."

Your bright aura glistens like an angel from heaven. O, my dear, I can't wait till our next meeting. My heart burns like lava for your pure voice is like a bird that's free. When you're not with me, I'm always thinking of what to say next to thee. My Juliet, you have won my heart and dived into my lonely life. When I married thee, I felt like I was finally whole as my heart filled with happiness. I plea to the heavens that will last forever, but alas, you have ceased to live and therefore I shall follow. May we always be together forever, my dear Juliet.
